Armor™ Ladders is a subsidiary of Artisan International Inc., USA. Artisan International Inc. is owned by Miberlan Industrial Co., Ltd. Taiwan. Miberlan is a privately held company, established in Taiwan in 1978, manufacturing a select product offering in Taiwan.

In 1994 Miberlan’s manufacturing growth was limited by its ability to grow in Taiwan, so new factories were established in China. This expansion ushered in a new stage of growth for the company, with increased volumes across an ever-increasing product range. as we grew our range, it became obvious that aluminium extrusions of various styles and sizes would be in high demand, and along with the company’s philosophy of controlling as many aspects of production as possible, large investments in aluminium production equipment were made, including aluminium extrusion machines. (This makes us one of only a few ladder companies worldwide manufacturing their own rails). This, with our in-house laboratory testing of the aluminium, fiberglass, and other components, Allows us the ability to control and enhance our product and processes on a daily basis. These investments generate considerable production capabilities and create new product opportunities that include ladders and ladder accessories.

Miberlan gets ISO 9002:2000 Certification for ladders, portable scaffolding, and patio furniture. This strengthens our position as a top-tier manufacturer, meeting and exceeding international standards and compliance.

2001
Miberlan purchases Hartman Pacific, the largest outdoor product company in australia. This assists in expanding our range and market penetration. This also provided our plants with a highly-skilled product design and development arm. In 5 short years the ladder products group has grown to have the majority market share in australia.

2002
Miberlan purchases a fiberglass manufacturing plant. This contributes to the broadening of its ladder offering and expanding business in australia, New Zealand, asia, Europe, and supplying the largest national home center chain and other distribution in North america under private branding.

2009
Artisan International Inc. introduces Armor™ Ladders in the US under its own brand name. All Armor™ Ladder products have ANSI and OSHA certifications. We at Armor™ Ladders are dedicated to supplying the highest quality product to the professional and industrial trades.
